Welcome
to my teaching blog! This is my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten and I
absolutely love it. I am a Minnesota teacher and mother to two little ones. I
am starting at a new school this year so I am experiencing a bit of
readjustment right now. This summer I had the opportunity to teach in a new
program providing an extra academic boost for children entering Kindergarten
and also providing an emphasis in social-emotional health. My blogger name is xoxokindergarten
because I believe a big part of Kindergarten is beginning a love for learning.
I also believe all children should feel loved, safe, and worthy.
I
am currently working on creating resources to use during Daily 5, Guided Reading,
Math Workstations and lessons to use that align with the Kindergarten ELA
Common Core State Standards.
