Kindergarten Homework Calendars

Do you use homework in your Kindergarten classroom?

I like to give my families a calendar of (low pressure) prompts to get in the habit of talking about learning at school and beginning a homework routine.

I have created September-June prompts for families. The prompts are primarily reading, math, and writing. There are some thematic elements too.


To ease yearly prep for the teacher, I have left the pages UN-NUMBERED! The whole calendar is filled out and there are directions to simply follow the current calendar year. Families can do additional days for extra practice.

October Freebie

Happy Fall Everyone!

We had a beautiful weekend with highs in the upper 70’s! Now its back to chilly and rainy… Hard to wake up on a Monday morning with gloomy rain.

This week is exciting though because it is my birthday! My special day is October 1^st and I’ve always loved being a fall baby. To celebrate, I’m giving out an October freebie! I created an October Homework Calendar for my students so they can practice skills at home each night. I am using it with my pizza hut “book-it” certificates.
